The Largest Ranching Event of the Year!!
The Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo is the largest ranching and cattle industry event in Texas and Oklahoma. With more than 4,000 attendees and three days of fun, great speakers, and dozens of educational programs, there is something for ranchers of all sizes and levels of experience.
World-Class Speakers and Information Sessions
For 138 years, cattle raisers have held an annual convention to conduct association business and learn about issues and topics that are affecting ranchers and landowners. Just like 138 years ago, we bring in experts to address the most relevant ranching topics of the day: water and private property rights, the important role ranchers play feeding the world, cattle market outlooks, climate updates, legislative updates, and more.
Social Events
Attendees are entertained at several social functions, highlighted by the Cattle Raisers Dinner Dance. Great food, fun, and music highlight an evening that people will talk about all year. The Young People’s After Party and Welcome Reception get the weekend kicked off in style as old friendships are rekindled and new friendships are made with other convention attendees.
School for Successful Ranching
The School offers more than 25 classroom sessions designed to provide practical insights on topics from range management, animal health, nutrition, lease management, water and property rights, and much more. School sessions are designed for both beginning and advanced ranchers.
Cattle Raisers Expo
More than 220 companies bring the latest product and service innovations to the event. Filling more than 130,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Cattle Raisers Expo is the largest rancher-focused Expo in Texas. From fashion and fine art to custom saddles, boots, bit and spur makers, and more, the Expo provides great family fun for all ages.
Law Enforcement Silent Auction
The TSCRA Special Rangers are fully funded by membership dues and do not accept any taxpayer funds to fulfill their theft prevention and investigative activities. The silent auction is their primary fundraising event of the year and features nearly 200 items, ranging from custom jewelry to firearms and even a stock trailer. You can’t miss the exciting close to the silent auction at 5:30 Saturday night!
Cattle Handling Demonstrations
Cattle handling demonstrations take place on the Expo floor and are facilitated by world-renowned stockmanship experts. Attendees can learn how to handle cattle on foot and horseback in a safe, gentle manner. We also showcase various cattle handling equipment and pen design concepts, all in the comfort of the Fort Worth Convention Center.
Learning Lounge
The Learning Lounge is located on the Expo floor and features presentations and demonstrations throughout the Expo hours. Attendees have an opportunity to participate in some of the sessions, ranging from meat cutting demonstrations to hands-on exhibits that display why cattle are so good at converting roughage to high quality protein.
